The Ebinger Elementary School Annex was built in 2019 and designed by Chicago-based Studio ARQ. Architect Cesar Santoy used six different colored bricks to create a sunburst pattern that radiates out from the classrooms and the brilliance inside. To achieve this dramatic effect, Santoy drew detailed blueprints specifying the location of every brick.
